Common Cents

Giving is about more than money—it’s about the condition of our hearts and our willingness to trust God with what He has entrusted to us. Throughout Scripture, we are reminded that generosity is not measured by the amount we give, but by the attitude, faith, and sacrifice behind our giving.

In Common Cents, we explore seven biblical principles of giving: giving regularly, individually, eagerly, proportionately, willingly, generously, and cheerfully. God doesn't call us to give out of guilt or pressure, but out of gratitude and love for Him. When we recognize that everything we have comes from God, generosity becomes an act of worship rather than an obligation.

Through practical steps like adjusting our attitudes, trusting God, and making giving a priority, we are challenged to examine our relationship with money and grow in faithful stewardship.

The heart of the message: God isn't simply interested in what we give—He's interested in the heart behind it. True generosity begins when we trust Him more than we trust our money and allow His generosity toward us to shape how we live and give.
