First and foremost Steve the husband of the most amazing, kind, and compassionate woman. Dad to four beautiful kids, a rowdy bloodhound, a rebellious golden retriever, a loud mouth African Grey parrot, and the always hungry cat. Born and raised in Montana. Steve has a diverse background ranging from emergency medical services, service in the U.S. Army, a degree in Wildlife Biology, and 17 years of helping people recover from substance abuse disorders. Steve is currently working on his M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. When not at the church it's likely you will find somewhere in the vast Montana wilderness. Steve believes the four seasons are snowboarding, fly fishing, hunting, and football.
Stephen and Dani Taylor
Children's Pastor
Stephen and Dani are highschool sweethearts that got married in 2008. They have welcomed 3 children and are pet parents to 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 frogs. Together they have served in almost all capacities at New Life, but they really found their calling in Children’s Ministry, where they have actively and faithfully served since 2008. You would be hard pressed not to find Stephen or Dani when you stop by the church, but when they aren’t serving at New Life they both work outside of the church. They also spend their time homeschooling their kids and making memories. Stephen enjoys his free time playing (board and/or video games, with his kids, or outdoors), Dani is an avid reader and loves cross-stitch.
Carmen Southard
Office manager
Carmen Southard is the Secretary here at New Life for almost 9 years and has attended for even longer. She and her husband Ken have been married for 16 years and have 3 beautiful girls who keep them very busy.
If she is not working at the church she is substituting in the Lewistown schools, watching her girls play in sports games, or is just being a mom and wife and everything that entails....which she considers her best life.
She also serves as a leader in our Children’s Ministry for over 10 years, and currently leads a Pre-Teen group a couple times a month on Sunday mornings. She loves to serve and has a passion for our Women’s Ministry and being connected to the women of New Life, along with marriages and youth. Overall New Life = Family!
